Sarah Patterson AMFT 152544
SENIOR ASSOCIATE | NEW MOMS & COUPLES; REMOTE ONLY
The transition into parenthood is one of the most intense attachment events an adult will ever experience. It can quietly reactivate old fears of abandonment, create communication bottlenecks between partners, and leave new mothers feeling isolated. Sarah helps new parents, expectant couples, and Moms break free from relationship stress, decode nervous system panic loops, and rebuild a secure, resilient team dynamic.

Sarah brings an exceptional mix of evidence-based clinical rigor and radical, comforting realness to her practice. Specializing in perinatal mental health, trauma resolution, and relationship anxiety, Sarah utilizes Brainspotting, EMDR, Somatic therapy, and attachment-informed couples frameworks (EFT & Gottman principles) to treat the root cause of relational distress.
As a queer bio-mom, stepmom, and cancer survivor, Sarah holds deep lived experience regarding the physical, emotional, and societal shifts that accompany parenthood and major life transitions. Clients working with Sarah experience profound relief from her grounded authenticity, leaving sessions with concrete coregulation tools, healed attachment wounds, and a clear path toward relationship ease.

Off-the-Clock: When they aren't supporting clients, Sarah is navigating the daily chaos of parenting, creating art, making ceramics, or geeking out over architectural design.
